ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

One of the highlights of the Foundation’s activities is the three-week Academic Enrichment Program (AEP). This program is a seven-hour daily session. Each session includes academic and recreational activities, breakfasts, and lunches. The program also includes two 16-mile field trips in a “luxury” bus to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital for medical and dental checkups and care. After each healthcare trip, we head to Kilimanjaro Restaurant, a popular fast-food restaurant where the scholars have lunch and spend time at the play station or window shop at Tropical Mall.

Our mission

This year, the Foundation hopes to raise $10,000.00 to continue with its mission. It also continues to solicit the donation of school supplies, clothes, sandals, and sneakers for these 8 to 11-year-old boys and girls. We would greatly appreciate any assistance that will enable us to meet our goals.

The Foundation has just secured a partnership with the Ministry of Education, Akwa Ibom State. The central objective of this novel partnership is to transform Government Primary School Ikot Ebo, Etinan LG, into a top-tier model primary school. As a “model”, the quality of education that pupils will receive in the school will match and perhaps surpass what many first-tier private schools in the state and country provide to their pupils. This partnership (and all that it entails) will become an additional but integral component of the Foundation’s mission.
